For the customer who always thought Fair Isle was a bit much. Most Nordic knits bury the whole garment in pattern, the Powder Day Fair Isle Zip Cardigan does the opposite, placing its jacquard in clean horizontal bands at the yoke and hem and leaving wide stretches of plain cream in between. That empty space is the entire point - it frames the body instead of covering it, and it's why this reads calm and vintage-ski rather than busy. A ribbed funnel collar zips all the way up and stands on its own, doing the job of a scarf on a grey morning, while dropped shoulders and a softly boxy body let it behave more like a knit bomber than a sweater. Chocolate and rust against cream keeps the whole thing in fall's easiest palette. Wear it zipped over a tee with olive utility trousers, or open over a turtleneck with straight denim. The Fair Isle for people who don't wear Fair Isle.
